Plastic and Fertility

I have always been a big fan of using glass or stainless steel instead of plastics but a recent study links BPA exposure (found in plastics, liners of cans and other everyday containers and food items) to infertility and birth defects. All the more reason to ditch the plastics and stick to glass and stainless steel and use cans and jars that are BPA free.

Using tempered glass food storage containers, kitchenware, mason jars, drinking straws and water bottles are excellent and earth-friendly alternatives and they don’t give your food and beverages a metallic taste they way other containers can.  I am a huge fan of Lifefactory water bottles as they have a silicone sleeve which prevents breakage as well as a full line of baby bottles, sippy cups and kids water bottles along with their adult line.
